Location

Beautiful Door County, Wisconsin is sometimes referred to as the Cape Cod of the Great Lakes since it is a lush peninsula surrounded by the stunning waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan. It has long been a destination for fishermen and in fact they first began working the waters around Rock Island in the 1830s. The harbors and bays in Sturgeon Bay offer protection from wind and waves and have earned Sturgeon Bay a reputation as one of the best smallmouth bass fisheries in the world! Trophy-class fish, including northern pike, perch, walleye, and trout, help make Sturgeon Bay the anglers' year-round destination of choice. Lake Michigan is renowned for salmon, brown and lake trout. Depending on the season, I will take you fishing in the Fox River, Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal, nearshore Lake Michigan or elsewhere around the peninsula. Through years of experience I know each area affords different species at varying times throughout the year.
Door County is located on Highway 42 or 57 northeast of Green Bay. You will recieve detailed directions upon a trip purchase.
